SOLO WOMAN TRAVEL NEPAL // Epic Projects

 

As I am lucky enough to travel around the planet for work I always bump into incredible people and incredible projects. This is one of those incredible projects. Started by Jason Shah & Pemba Sherpa, SOLO TRAVEL gives Nepali Women the opportunity to get out there and experience their own country, inspire confidence and build character. This is a part of their story.

463 applicants.

In 2017 they had 463 applicants!! Here is a snippet from their report:

“Out of 463 applications received this year, 18 women were selected through a rigorous process which included personal interviews, itinerary planning/risk management, and online voting. These women, aged between 18 and 43, successfully completed their travel challenges in various regions of Nepal, throughout the months of July – November, 2017.”

So 2017, yeah thats awesome but what about 2018? What about the future?

The FUTURE.

The future looks good. They have just launched their latest travel challenge – the SOLO EXPEDITION NEPAL.

“SOLO EXPEDITION NEPAL is all about being creative and adventurous in fulfilling your wanderlust. Applicants are required to fill an online form stating their travel plan for minimum 60 days, anywhere in Nepal and include at least 5 national parks, 3 lakes, celebrate 3 local festivals, and experience 7 days of home – stay”
